What do guests think about this lodging establishment?
The accommodation received mixed reviews. Several guests praised the friendly staff, clean rooms, and good location in the city center. However, some guests were disappointed with the hotel's amenities and felt that the rooms were old-fashioned and in need of renovation. The breakfast was mentioned as being average and lacking in variety. Noise from the street could be a problem in front-facing rooms. There were also reports of unpleasant smells in some rooms and issues with broken air conditioning. The pricing was seen as reasonable for those on a budget. Overall, the hotel's strongest points were its central location and helpful staff, while improvements could be made in terms of room quality and amenities.

- 4Excellent location - could use some renovationACHILLEFS - Mar 29, 2019
The hotel is in the best location, just 2 min walk from the Duomo and via Etnea, at the 4th floor of an old palazzo overlooking a piazza. The breakfast is very nice with both sweet and salty delicacies, cappuccinos, cereals, etc. Plus there is an open air terrace with nice view to enjoy it. The staff is friendly and helpful but there is some issues with communication. We asked twice for an extra double blanket for our bed, and in the end we could only get two single bed coverings.
The rooms inside preserve some of the old decorations of the palazzo with decorated high ceilings. Unfortunately a much needed renovation is long overdue.
